Fuzzy clustering of homogeneous decision making units with common weights in data envelopment analysis

Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is the most popular mathematical approach to assess efficiency of decision-making units (DMUs). In complex organizations, DMUs face a heterogeneous condition regarding environmental factors which affect their efficiencies. When there are large number objects, non-homogeneity significantly influences scores that leads unfair ranking DMUs. The aim this study deal with non-homogeneous by implementing clustering technique for further analysis. This paper proposes common set weights (CSW) model ideal point method develop an identical weight vector all framework measuring such as banks, have several operational styles or various objectives. proposed helps managers and decision makers (1) identify components influencing DMUs, (2) use fuzzy equivalence relation here cluster homogenized groups, (3) produce (CSWs) developed considers data within each cluster, finally (4) calculate score overall cluster.
